Pleasantly surprised. We will be back soon. Everything was fresh and homemade. Can't wait to try more of their menu. I had fresh corn tortilla tacos (asada and pollo) and my husband's had the Trio nachos. Fresh Horchada and Tequila ice cream.

Such friendly staff. Generous samples provided. Every single flavor of ice cream and juice sampled is extraordinarily fresh and delicious. I branched out and got strawberry chamoy and queso (yes, cheese, not cheesecake). Scrumptious!!!!! We came for dessert but will be back very soon for dinner and dessert, too!

Good, good food! I got Mr. Tinos nachos and it came with pineapples on it (don’t knock it before you try it). I LOVED the pineapples on the nachos! Also tried a few of the flavors of ice cream and it was so creamy and delicious!!!

Great place if you want some delicious ice cream. Home made ice cream at that. They offer samples of any flavor you're curious about and there are plenty of flavors to choose from. The lady we spoke to was very informative and made some great suggestions for ice cream flavor combinations. We enjoyed our dessert outside on the chairs they had set up. Pricing is reasonable and the quality of their products was exceptional. My new favorite ice cream spot! I will be back to try more flavors and their food as well! Highly recommend!

I stopped in for a quick bite and ended up pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. I tried a chicken tamale, a pork tamale, and finished with their queso strawberry ice cream — and every single thing was delicious. The tamales were hot, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell they’re made fresh and with care. And the queso strawberry ice cream was amazing — creamy, unique, and the perfect sweet finish. The staff was friendly, the portions were great, and the place has that welcoming, local feel that makes you want to come back. Definitely a spot worth trying if you’re in the area!

Mr. Tino’s Ice Cream & Tacos is a true hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve stepped into your tía’s kitchen — everything is homemade, served generously, and full of authentic Michoacán flavor. We came for both the savory dishes and the ice cream, and everything was excellent. The chicken mole was the standout for me: rich, thick, and perfectly seasoned with tender chicken falling off the bone. The street tacos were also fantastic — fresh tortillas made to order, plenty of salsa options (from super-hot to a bright cilantro-guacamole blend), plus extras like pickled onion & jalapeño slaw and huge slices of lime. Everything is served from a place of abundance. On the sweeter side, the ice cream is unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. We tried key lime pie, angel kiss, mango & chamoy, strawberry cheesecake, and Oreo cappuccino. The difference compared to store-bought is night and day — the flavors are vibrant, fresh, and alive, while still firm and creamy. You can tell each one is handmade with care. The aguas frescas are equally fresh and surprising; we loved the strawberry-coconut blend, horchata, dragon fruit lemonade, and banana. Every sip tasted bright and natural. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, more of a counter-service, ice-cream-parlor feel, but the people make it special. We spoke with Mr. Tino himself, who humbly shared his story of making ice cream since he was 14 in Michoacán and continuing his craft here in Georgia for 25 years. The whole staff was warm and genuine — from the helpful cashier who guided our choices to the chef who stepped out for a quick hello. Prices are very reasonable, and portions are generous. Between the homemade tortillas, vibrant ice cream, and aguas frescas, and the genuine kindness of the people, this spot really stands out. Mr. Tino’s isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience of authenticity and care. Highly recommend this place if you’re anywhere nearby — it’s absolutely worth the trip.
